David heads our multi-asset investments team, which manages the Rathbone Multi-Asset and Rathbone Greenbank Portfolio funds. He joined Rathbones in 2007 after spending 19 years with Baring Asset Management, where he managed multi-asset funds and segregated mandates. He began his career with Hambros Bank in 1984.

Will manages the Rathbone Multi-Asset and Rathbone Greenbank Portfolio funds. He joined Rathbones’ charities team in 2007 and was made investment manager in 2011, running institutional multi-asset mandates. He has been with our multi-asset investments team since 2015 and a fund manager since July 2019. Will is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and graduated from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology with a BSc Hons in Management. 

Will manages the Rathbone Multi-Asset and Rathbone Greenbank Portfolio funds. He joined Rathbones’ charities team in 2007 and was made investment manager in 2011, running institutional multi-asset mandates. He has been with our multi-asset investments team since 2015 and a fund manager since July 2019. Alan joined Rathbones in October 2005 and was made co-manager of the Rathbone Income Fund in October 2018. He has previously managed and co-managed a number of UK, European and global equity funds for Rathbones. Alan is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and holds the Investment Management Certificate.

Alexandra is the manager of the Rathbone UK Opportunities Fund. She was appointed co-manager in June 2014 and named sole manager in August 2017. Previously she was assistant fund manager on the Rathbone Global Opportunities Fund.  

Alexandra joined Rathbones in January 2007 as an equity analyst, having graduated from the University of Durham (University College) with a BA Hons in Economics. Alexandra is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and holds the Investment Management Certificate. She sits on the Rathbones Asset Management Responsible Investment Committee.

Bryn is the head of fixed income for Rathbones and is lead manager on the Rathbone Ethical Bond Fund and the Rathbone Strategic Bond Fund. He joined Rathbones in November 2004 from Merrill Lynch, where he managed $2 billion of fixed income assets.

Bryn is a member of the Rathbone Strategic Asset Allocation Committee, non-executive chairman of Rathbones' Fixed Income Committee, and an adviser to the Rathbone Banking Committee. He is a WMA representative for the HMT DMO’s (Her Majesty’s Treasury - Debt Management Office) Gilt market consultation process. Bryn appears regularly on CNBC and Bloomberg TV. He also sits on the IA Fixed Income Committee.

Bryn graduated from Birmingham University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography in 1995. Bryn’s Rathbone Ethical Bond Fund was awarded Best Sterling Corporate Bond Fund at the Morningstar UK Fund Awards 2014 and 2016; Best SRI Bond Fund at the Money Observer 2015, 2016 and 2017 Fund Awards; the Rathbone Ethical Bond Fund is also a top performer in the Bond Pound Sterling – Corporates sector over three and five years in the UK (Lipper Fund Award 2015) and was ‘Highly Commended’ at the 2015 Moneywise Awards. His Rathbone Strategic Bond Fund was voted best Multi-Asset Fixed Income Strategy at the Investment Week Specialist Investment Awards 2015 and was highly commended in 2016. Winner of the Judges Choice Fixed Income award 2018 – Investment Week Fund Manager of the Year awards. Best Ethical Investment Fund, 2019 and 2018; Best Sustainable and ESG Bond Fund 2020 - Investment Week Sustainable and ESG Investment Awards. Carl has managed the Rathbone Income Fund since the 1 January 2000, having joined Rathbones in 1998. He is one of the longest serving managers in the UK Equity Income sector, with one of the best performance records over that time. He has spent two decades holding executive roles within Rathbones Asset Management, and was closely involved in the creation and evolution of the team’s investment process. He is a member of the CFA Institute and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment.

Carl graduated in 1991 from the University of Southampton with a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature, and in 2021 was awarded an MA (Hons) degree in Modern History from King’s College London. A regular triathlete and ultramarathon runner, Carl has completed an Ironman distance triathlon, as well as two runs of the famous Comrades Marathon in South Africa. He and his wife are heavily involved in animal welfare; they have fostered over 60 rescue dogs, have adopted a dozen over the last 10 years, and are connected to New Hope Animal Rescue, a small animal sanctuary near Herne Bay in Kent. And with only a little encouragement, Carl will also tell you he is vegan.

He joined Rathbones in June 2014 after 14 years working in equity analysis and fund management, including time at Hermes and Goldman Sachs. David is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and holds the Investment Management Certificate. He graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Politics from the University of Southampton.

Edward is Head of Asset Allocation Research at Rathbones and supports its investment process with proprietary macro-based, multi-asset research. He is a member of the Strategic Asset Allocation Committee, Sector Selection Committee, and a founding member of the Responsible Investment Committee. Edward presents frequently to clients on the economic and financial market outlook, and comments on economic developments in the press. He is a regular guest on Bloomberg TV and Sky News. 

He joined Rathbones in 2014 from Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management, where he was global strategist and co-lead manager of their Risk Enhanced Multi-Asset Portfolio service. He began his career at Blackrock.

Edward is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and has served on the continuing education committee of CFA UK, for whom he has also helped write position papers, most recently on the future of corporate financial reporting. He is a published expert on risk management for high net worth individuals, and is a member of the Society of Professional Economists. He has an MA from the University of Oxford and an MSc with distinction in Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Elizabeth joined Rathbones in January 2005, after graduating from the University of Oxford (Lady Margaret Hall).  She holds an MA in Mathematical Sciences.  Having worked for many years as a quantitative analyst, fundamental analyst and latterly as a fund manager, Liz has been promoted to the role of Investment Risk Director for Rathbones Asset Management.

She profiles risk across the funds, including areas such as liquidity, investment risk and data analysis, and is charged with ensuring the integrity of information that is provided to clients, institutions and the fund managers themselves. She holds the Investment Management Certificate and is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Charterholder
